How your calls reach her
Keep your own number
Your customers ring you as they always have. Dial on your mobile once and press call. Your phone still rings first, and she takes the calls you miss.
To check it, ring your mobile from another phone and let it ring out. She should answer.
Use your Kallorix number
For phones that can't divert, such as some pay-as-you-go SIMs. Put on your website, Google Business Profile and adverts.
It rings your mobile first and shows who is calling. When you pick up you hear "Call for your business, press any key to take it". Press a key and you are talking to them. If you don't, she answers.
What your receptionist knows
Change anything here and press save. She uses it from your next call.
One per line. Only what you really do.
One town or area per line.
One line each, for example "Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm". Leave empty and she says you will confirm.
One per line, such as name, call-back number, postcode.
Things callers often ask, with the answer you want given: call-out charge, parking, payment methods, guarantees. Up to 12. She never guesses anything that is not here.
Urgent calls
When a caller has an emergency or asks to speak to someone straight away, she rings your mobile once. If you don't pick up, she tells the caller you'll ring back and texts you that it's urgent.
Between 10 at night and 6 in the morning she won't say someone is on the way or will ring in a minute. She says she's sending it straight to you and that you'll ring back as soon as you've seen it, which may be first thing. Switch this off if you really do cover nights.
A link for your callers
During the call she can text the caller a link to show you exactly where they are, or to send a photo of the problem. It's optional for them, and whatever they share appears on the job page linked in your text.
Your diary
Every job she pencils in lands here, along with any you add yourself. She never offers a caller a time that is already taken.
Nothing in your diary yet.
Add a job yourself
One text between 7 and 8 in the morning, only on days you have something in the diary.
See it in your own calendar too
Optional. Subscribe once and your Kallorix diary also shows in Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Those apps refresh on their own schedule, so a new job can take a while to appear there.
Times she can offer
She offers free times from the hours below and pencils one into your diary. You get it by text, marked to confirm with the customer.
Paste the "secret address in iCal format" from Google Calendar, or the published ICS link from Outlook or Apple Calendar, so she never offers a time you're already busy.
Recent calls
No calls yet. Once your divert is on, the calls she answers appear here.
Transcripts are kept for 90 days, then removed.
Kallorix on your phone
Put it on your home screen and it opens like an app, straight to your calls and diary. Open this page on your phone, then:
- iPhone: in Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom, then "Add to Home Screen".
- Android: in Chrome, tap the three dots at the top, then "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
You stay signed in on that phone. We only ask for a code again if you don't open it for three months, or you sign out.
You don't need to check in here every day. Each job comes to you by text as it happens, and the morning text lists your day. Open Kallorix when you want to confirm a job, read a conversation or change what she knows.
