Kallorix
Terms of service
The agreement between you and Kallorix when you use the service. Written to be read.
The service
Kallorix answers phone calls that you divert to it, speaks to the caller as your business using the details you have approved, and texts you a summary. It is for UK businesses. We do not currently provide it for medical, legal or financial advice services.
Free demo and free trial
- The demo is free and needs no card. It allows one private call of up to 3 minutes.
- The free trial lasts 7 days and includes up to 15 calls or 30 minutes, whichever is reached first. A payment card is needed to start it.
- One free trial is available per business, card, email address and mobile number.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and your card is charged.
Plans and minutes
- Plans are billed monthly in advance. Current prices and minutes are on the pricing page.
- A minute is time the receptionist spends on a call, rounded up per call. A single call can last up to 5 minutes.
- Unused minutes do not carry over to the next month.
- If you use all your minutes, the receptionist stops answering until your next month begins. Callers hear a short message and we text you their number where we can.
- Plans described as unlimited are for one business's genuine customer calls and have a fair-use limit of 3,000 minutes a month.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing help@kallorix.co.uk, or by having someone you have authorised contact us on your behalf. You can also cancel from your billing page. Your service continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
Refunds
If you are not happy with the service, tell us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. This is in addition to the 7-day free trial. After that, payments are not refunded, but you can cancel to stop future charges.
What you agree to
- The business details you approve are accurate, and you will keep them up to date.
- You will use the service only for a lawful business, and not to mislead, harass or harm callers.
- You are responsible for telling your own customers how their information is used, and for any call-divert charges from your phone network.
- You will not try to get round usage limits or resell the service without our agreement.
What the service cannot do
The receptionist is automated. It can mishear, misunderstand or miss a detail, so please treat its summaries as a prompt to call the customer back, not as a confirmed order. It cannot ring the emergency services, transfer a call to you while it is in progress, take payment or make a binding booking. It must not be relied on for emergencies or where safety is at risk.
The service depends on phone networks and other providers, so we cannot promise it will be available without interruption.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, for lost profit or lost business, or for problems caused by phone networks or other providers outside our control. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspending or ending the service
We may suspend or end your service if payment fails, if it is being misused, or if we are required to by law. We will tell you first where we reasonably can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and prices. We will give you reasonable notice of any change that affects you, and you can cancel if you do not agree.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
